About The Event:
Saturday 17th April: Runs 'n' Roses
Sunday 18th April: God Gave Rock 'n' Running To You
Join us for our brand new Runs 'n' Roses event as part of our Iconic Rock n Roll Bands series. We did think about holding this event in November and hope for Rain, but the medal is so good, they are one of our favourite groups and we just didn't have the 'Patience'. The medal is that good, when you see it you will think 'You Could Be Mine'.
The event is a 7hr time challenge event for all runners of all abilities. The course will be the 4.37 mile lap, which heads down towards the 'Paradise City' of Staines. At the end of each lap you will think "It's So Easy" and as long as you "Don't Cry" you can head out for more and feed your 'Bad Obsession'! If 'You're Crazy' enough, just see how far you can go in the full 7 hours!
The distance you want to run is completely under your control and as long as you finish one of the laps you are a finisher. Our events are great for all abilities and you will get lots of support and encouragement from other runners. The best part of our events is that it doesn't matter if 'You Ain't The First' as you are a winner to us.
There will be a distance pin for all runners who complete either a half marathon, mega half marathon, marathon, 50km or Ultra in the 7hr time limit which can be attached to your medal ribbon.
The aid station is at the start line and therefore available every 3.0 miles and 4.37 miles. The toilets are situated inside the race HQ which is available for our runners to use from 8:30am and for the entire event. Unfortunately restrictions mean you cannot wait inside and the changing rooms are not available at this time.
The course is along the Thames River path and classified as a trail run.
Minimum distance is 4.37 miles or as far as you can go in 7 hours.
We are hoping our full aid table will be back by this event and if you haven't seen it you will think 'Oh My God'. We have even had runners comment that we have more choice than they had at their wedding!! However, if we are restricted on our range, we still have plenty of sweets and snacks to choose from, including a brilliant vegan range.
As well as one of these great medal, all finishers will continue to receive our goody bag or vegan goody bag!
Remember, if this is a special event, for instance your 50th, 99th, 100th, 150th etc. run at a certain distance, then let us know in advance and we will make sure we have a special number ready for you!
