About The Event:
Join us for our Practically Perfect In Every Run event and believe us when we tell you the medal is truly scrumptious.
The event is a 7hr time challenge event for all runners and walkers too. The course takes you along the Thames Path before returning to the Skiff Club. Our standard course is 3.28 miles, but when the weather allows, this may increase to the 4.37 mile route. We will have a 5km distance available too!
The beauty of this style of event is that you decide how far you want to run and when you've achieved your distance you can ring the bell, collect your medal and our fantastic goody bag (vegan goody bags are available too).
We have created a Mini-Me Pin medal for runners who do not want the main event medal. The cost of the Mini-Me Pin only entry is therefore lower. We have 30 Mini-Me pin medal spaces available on a strict first come first served basis. We also have 70 Mini-Me pins which will be given to the first 70 runners to sign up for the full medal.
There will be a distance pin for all runners who complete either a half marathon, mega half marathon, marathon, 50km or Ultra in the 7hr time limit which can be attached to your medal ribbon.
The aid station is at the start line which is also the finish of each lap and is available throughout the event. We have the widest possible range of goodies on the aid table and also perhaps the best vegan selection available too. The toilets are situated in the Wraysbury Skiff and Punting Club which is available for our runners use from 8am and for the entire event. There is also a cafe situated in the Pleasure Grounds should you wish to use it.
The course is along the Thames River path and classified as a trail run. The course is flat and fast.
Minimum distance is 5km (we will have a 5km marker) or as far as you can go in 7 hours.
We have two events running at the same time. The main event is a UKA Permitted event and is for all runners aged 18 or over. In addition, we have a non-UKA event for runners under the age of 18. Runners under the age of 18 will automatically be included in the non-UKA start list and this event will start 1 minute after the main events.
