About The Event

Join Saturn Running as we host the 2025 AGM on behalf of the 100 Marathon Club at the amazing Dare Valley Country Park. This is a beautiful course around well maintained footpaths on a 4.37 mile course.

PLEASE NOTE - THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO ALL RUNNERS INCLUDING NON-CLUB MEMBERS. THE 100 MARATHON CLUB SUPPORT AND WELCOME ALL RUNNERS WHETHER THIS IS YOUR FIRST MARATHON OR 1,000TH MARATHON!

Distance & Time

This is a marathon only event, with starts at 8am and 9am available for runners, although if you do wish to continue beyond a marathon and into ultra-marathon territory then you can keep on going.

We will be using Chip Timing at this event and you will pick your chip up on the day of the event with your race number.

Starting Waves: 8am / 9am - Please choose your wave on entry

Course

The course is around the beautiful Dare Valley Country Park on well maintained paths. There are lovely views of the surrounding country side making this an interesting course to run. We have a fantastic route that is all on well maintained footpaths so is perfect for a road trainer.

Medals & Pins

We will have a special bespoke medal for the AGM, featuring the club logo and a special collectable pin for the first 100 entrants. 

All our Saturn events feature a distance pins to show your distance. Finishers will receive one of our marathon pins on the ribbon of your medal to reflect your achievement.

Goody Bag

Absolutely! You earned the calories after all, so all our finishers get a goody bag. As well as our standard goody bag, with a selection of various goodies to choose from, we also have a fabulous vegan goody bag for our vegan runners.

Aid Table

We have a fantastic aid table and drinks table at the start / finish of each lap. There is a great selection of savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items at the aid table.

Special Event

If our event is a special event for you, for instance your 50th, 99th, 100th, 200th, 250th etc., half or full marathon then please let us know. You will receive a special running number with your name on it and the date of the event. Also, if it is your birthday run then again please let us know as we have a fabulous special birthday number for you too!

Venue Facilities

Toilets and changing facilities are available at the race HQ which also has a great cafe. Bag drop is next to the start finish line but is unmanned meaning items are left at the participants own risk.

Car Parking

There is free parking at the venue

Race Day Instructions & Number Pick Up

Final race day instructions will be sent out via email 7 to 10 days prior to the event with full race day information. Number pick up is on the day at race registration before the start of the event.

Other Information

There will be somewhere to leave a bag at the start / finish area. However, this is not a secure bag and the items cannot be watched at all times so please don't leave anything valuable.

There is a free car park at the venue for cars, vans and motorhomes.

Bone conducting headphones ONLY are allowed - this is a strict condition enforced by Welsh Athletics.

Our running events are held on public footpaths so we would be grateful if all runners were considerate of other path users.
