About The Event
Join Saturn Too for our second event at the amazing Dare Valley Country Park where you will get yourself one of our incredible Aladdin Sane medals.
Distance & Time
This is a 7 hour Time Challenge event which allows you full control over the distance you want to run. The minimum distance is 5km, which is part of a lap. A full lap is 4.37 miles (7km) and you can run as many or as few of these laps as you wish in the 7 hour time limit which starts from the official event start time. It is 3 laps for a half marathon, 6 for a marathon and 7 or over for an ultra, we also have a 50km distance available.
Course
he course is around the beautiful Dare Valley Country Park on well maintained paths. There are lovely views of the surrounding country side making this an interesting course to run. We have a fantastic route that is all on well maintained footpaths so is perfect for a road trainer.
Medals & Pins
As long as you complete one lap, you will be an official finisher and you will receive our fantastic themed medal. We also have distance pins available for anyone who runs a half-marathon distance or more. Pins available to collect are our Half-Marathon, Mega-Half, Marathon, 50km and Ultra pins. You will receive one pin on the ribbon of your medal to reflect your achievement.
Goody Bag
Absolutely! You earned the calories after all, so all our finishers get a goody bag. As well as our standard goody bag, with a selection of various goodies to choose from, we also have a fabulous vegan goody bag for our vegan runners.
Aid Table
We have a fantastic aid table and drinks table at the start / finish of each lap. There is a great selection of savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items at the aid table.
Special Event
If our event is a special event for you, for instance your 50th, 99th, 100th, 200th, 250th etc., half or full marathon then please let us know. You will receive a special running number with your name on it and the date of the event. Also, if it is your birthday run then again please let us know as we have a fabulous special birthday number for you too.
Venue Facilities
Toilets and changing facilities are available at the race HQ which also has a great cafe. Bag drop is next to the start finish line but is unmanned meaning items are left at the participants own risk.

There is free parking at the venue
Race Day Instructions & Number Pick Up
Final race day instructions will be sent out via email 4 days prior to the event with full race day information. Number pick up is on the day at race registration before the start of the event.
Other Information
There will be somewhere to leave a bag at the start / finish area. However, this is not a secure bag and the items cannot be watched at all times so please do not leave anything valuable.
Places are strictly limited and event registration will close once these are sold out. The minimum age is 12 years old. If you would like to run with someone under 12 years of age, please contact us directly. We have two events running at the same time. The main event is a UKA Permitted event and is for all runners aged 18 or over. In addition, we have a non-UKA event for runners under the age of 18. Runners under the age of 18 will automatically be included in the non-UKA start list and this event will start 1 minute after the main event.
Headphones are allowed.
Our running events are held on public footpaths so we would be grateful if all runners were considerate of other path users.
